Local Content Authority issues mandatory list for personal, household equipment

The Local Content & Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA) issued the mandatory list for the personal and household equipment and supplies sector, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The list includes 11 products, such as uniforms, safety helmets, laboratory coats, and woven armbands.

 

The products were identified and added to the list, in cooperation with the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO), based on some criteria approved by LCGPA, including the production capacity of national factories and the number of manufacturers of these products.

 

Abdulrahman Al Samari, CEO of LCGPA, said the list will contribute to enabling this vital sector and boosting the competitiveness of the local products, in line with Vision 2030.
