Saudi Arabia’s Transport General Authority (TGA) announced the trial launch of the service quality score for car rental services provided to beneficiaries of licensed facilities.

As of this year, the authority will measure the quality score by evaluating four key pivots: Establishment, vehicles, beneficiaries and violations/complaints. This applies to licensed facilities of category (A), Saudi Press Agency reported.

Through this step, TGA seeks to raise the quality of services provided in the car rental sector, so as to ensure the provision of high-quality services.

This is in addition to developing a mechanism for classifying establishments to be in accordance with the quality of services provided, and increasing the competitiveness in the rental sector among licensed establishments and those wishing to join the activity, the statement added.
