A total of 158,900 Saudi families owned their first homes. This came as part of the objectives of Vision 2030 to raise the percentage of Saudi homeowners to 70% by 2030, Sakani said.

Further, 10,404 Saudi families benefited from the options and solutions offered by Sakani in December 2022. As many as 9,422 others bought their first homes in the same month.

In early 2022, the program announced its endeavor to provide 180,000 new families with various housing solutions. This is alongside more than 100,000 subsidized home loans, Argaam reported.
