World Economic Forum kicks off today in Davos, Saudi Arabia to participate

The World Economic Forum (WEF) begins today, Jan. 16, in Davos, Switzerland, where Saudi Arabia will participate.

 

The event will run until Jan. 20, under the theme "Cooperation in a Fragmented World".

 

The Saudi participation aims to strengthen international cooperation and offer more solutions to overcome geopolitical, economic, development and social challenges.

 

During its participation in the forum, the Saudi delegation will shed light on the progress made within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, as well as the transformation and development aimed at achieving a prosperous and diversified economy.

 

The delegation will also discuss the need to invest in transformative solutions in order to accelerate sustainable development around the world, enhance the flexibility of trade exchange and supply chains. It will also stress the importance of ensuring the inclusiveness of energy security.

 

Further, the delegation will share its experiences with the international community on how it overcame the challenges posed by the pandemic. It will provide deep insights on the best solutions and practices developed by the Kingdom to maintain its solid performance in overcoming global economic and social challenges.
