Saudi Arabia's ranking rises on global indices of training, gender balance

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said that Saudi Arabia has progressed in its ranking on global indices in training and gender balance. 

 

The ministry announced, in a tweet, that the Kingdom rose 22 ranks on the employee training index to achieve the 14th rank globally, while it advanced 12 places in the vocational training index to rank ninth globally, according to the World Competitiveness Yearbook. 

 

In the field of gender balance, the Kingdom jumped 10 notches on the index of equal wages for similar works to take 16th place’ globally. On the other hand, the country rose 12 ranks on the index of the percentage of women's participation in the workforce, according to World Economic Forum’s global report on the gender gap. 

 

The ministry also indicated that Saudi Arabia ranked 16th on the employees’ motivation index.
