Localization percentage reached 70% at sales outlets for advertising agencies, in addition to outlets offering photography as well as repair and maintenance services of laptop and computers.
Reservation offices and supervisory professions in palaces and lodging-included wedding and events venues will be localized by 20% maximum, excluding cleaning and loading/unloading labor jobs, while adhering to the uniform. This will apply within six months from the date of the decision issuance.
Further, jobs related to the operation and maintenance of passenger ferries will be 50% localized. This includes the professions of marine engineer, ship safety technician, accounting manager, sailor, ship traffic controller, port controller, maritime navigator/observer, sea attendant, ticket clerk, accounts clerk, accounts assistant and financial clerk, budget manager, financial analyst and ordinary sailor.
These percentages will apply in two phases, the first of which within six months. The second phase will take effect after 12 months, the ministry added.
