RCRC chief says 81 global firms open regional HQs, number set to double next year

Fahd Al-Rasheed, CEO of the Royal Commission of Riyadh City (RCRC), said that 81 global companies have opened their regional headquarters in Riyadh so far, expecting the number to double next year. 

 

The companies come from various sectors, he added.  

 

Moreover, major projects are coming up in Riyadh, which will likely double commercial spaces leading to higher investment in the property sector, Al-Rasheed told Al Arabiya TV on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. 

 

He further noted that the population in Riyadh rose to eight million last year, with increase in the number of jobs and visitors, especially during Riyadh Season.
