Gulf Union Al Ahlia reappoints Abdulaziz Al-Turki as Chairman

Gulf Union Al Ahlia Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors approved on Jan. 19 reappointing Abdulaziz Al-Turki, non-executive, as Chairman.

Zaid Al Yaeesh, independent, was named as Vice Chairman, the company said in a statement to Tadawul after obtaining the approval of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Somaya Abu Dagen was appointed as the board secretary.

The board also approved the formation of executive committee, which comprises Abdulaziz Al Turki as Chairman, as well as Zaid Al Yaeesh and Munir Al Borno, executive, as members.

The risk management committee was also formed with Abdullah Abdulwahab, independent, as Chairman. Mohammed Al Katheer, independent, and Majed Al Dhefiri, non-executive, are the committee members.

For the nomination and remuneration committee, Ahmed Al Muzaini, independent, was named as Chairman, with Abdullah Abdulwahab and Majed Al Dhefiri as members.

The investment committee formation was also approved. Abdulaziz Al Naim, independent non-board member, was appointed as Chairman. Al Borno, Mesheal Al Shayea, executive from outside the board and Ayham Al Yousif, independent from outside the board are the committee members.
