Nazaha investigates 307 defendants in criminal, administrative cases; arrests 142 others in Jumada II

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations with 307 defendants in some administrative and criminal cases during Jumada II.

Nazaha conducted 2,364 oversight visits, arresting 142 persons, including employees at the Ministries of Interior, Defence, National Guard, Energy, Justice, Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Health, Education, Environment, Water and Agriculture, National Anti-Corruption Commission, and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, on their involvement in bribery, power abuse, money laundering and forgery. 

Any suspicions of financial or administrative corruption should be reported to the authority in order to protect and preserve public money, it added.
