Qassim Governor stresses need to control higher real estate prices

Governor of Qassim Region Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud stressed the need for expanding housing plans and reining in price rise, in order to control real estate prices that increase on a daily basis.

The key aspect of real estate is the economic feasibility and, at the same time, affordable prices for citizens, the Governor told Al-Ikhbariya TV.

There is a real estate boom that is not easy, he added.

A balance should be achieved between the profit generated by real estate developers and the income of citizens, the Governor said.

He further stated that all the secretaries of the regions, the municipal and government sectors should facilitate the legal procedures for real estate developers, as well as others looking to investment in the regions.
