United Electronics Co.’s (eXtra) board of directors appointed, on Jan. 29, Abdullatif Al-Fozan, as a new board member to fill the vacant seat for the current three-year term, ending on May 12, 2024, according to a statement to Tadawul.
On Dec. 20, 2022, eXtra’s board approved the resignation of board member, Khaled Al-Sharif, the statement added.
Al-Fozan holds a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto. He has worked as Corporate Banking Director at Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), a consultant for mergers and acquisitions in Ernst and Young and held several senior positions.
The appointment is subject to the approval of the upcoming general meeting, the statement added.
