Sadara Chemical’s mixed feed cracker to close for maintenance from Feb. 1

Sadara Basic Services Co. announced the scheduled periodic turnaround maintenance of the mixed feed cracker (MFC) of its parent company, Sadara Chemical Co., according to a statement on Tadawul.

 

The maintenance will be according to the industrial and technical standards, and the turnaround will last for 45 days starting from Feb. 1.

 

It will contribute to enhancing the reliability of the company's plants and improving its operational and production efficiency, which will allow them to achieve their future operational plans, the statement said.

 

The financial impact cannot be assessed at present, and will reflect on Q1 2023 results, it added.

 

The company said it has taken necessary actions to limit any potential impact on its customers, and will announce any significant future developments in the due course.
