Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia up 2% to SAR 2.42 trln in Q3 2022

Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia grew by 2% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.42 trillion in Q3 2022, based on the latest official data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

When compared to the second quarter of 2022, foreign investments rose 2%, or SAR 36.2 billion, in Q3 2022.

Foreign direct investments (FDIs) accounted for 41% of total foreign investments in the Kingdom, equivalent to SAR 1 trillion.

 

Portfolio investments hit SAR 822.5 billion, while other investments stood at SAR 605.8 billion.
