The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's flag
Saudi-listed sukuk and bond issuances registered a 3% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) rise in total value by the end of Q4 2022, reaching about SAR 525.3 billion, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its Q4 2022 Debt Market report.
By end of Q4 2022, total trading value surged 62% to nearly SAR 4.01 billion from about SAR 2.47 billion in Q3 2022.
Tadawul witnessed 4,236 transactions during the three-month period, compared to 525 deals in Q3 2022, a hike of 707%.
Tadawul witnessed a 4% retreat in the total number of issuances of listed sukuk and bond in Q4 2022 to 74 issuances from 77 issuances in Q3 2022.

The value of listed government sukuk and bonds at the end of Q4 2022 represented about 95.9% of the total issuance of sukuk and bonds, amounting to about SAR 503.9 billion.
Meanwhile, sukuk and bonds of listed companies accounted for 4.1% (SAR 21.4 billion), as shown in the table below:
