The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's flag
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) said Saudi Arabia ranked first among the G20 countries in terms of the rate of worker productivity growth for 2022.
The ministry added that the achieved rate was 4.9%, the International Labour Organization said in the series of modeled readings it issues annually on worker productivity.
This is the highest rate achieved by the Kingdom for productivity growth. This rate reached -6.3% in 2019, and rose in 2021 to 4.4%, before reaching its highest level in 2022, according to the ministry.
The ministry further indicated that, in partnership with government agencies, it has contributed to this achievement through its initiatives in developing and organizing the Saudi labor market.
This is in addition to boosting the market’s attractiveness and improving its production efficiency, in accordance with the labor market strategy.
