National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) aims to transport all kinds of blue and green ammonia this year with the support of the Private Sector Partnership Reinforcement Center (Shareek), in line with the sustainability goals, said CEO Ahmed Alsubaey.

This statement came during the ceremony of announcing the first wave of supported projects for large companies joining Shareek.

Alsubaey added that Bahri seeks to enable major companies to transport gas products to regional and global markets.

The renewable energy strategy sponsored by the Ministry of Energy will make a large quantity of gas available for export, the top executive added.

Shareek announced on March 1 the first package of supported projects for eight companies, at a total value of SAR 192.4 billion, to enable 12 private sector projects in four vital sectors, according to data compiled by Argaam.
