Tadawul approved amendments to the Short Selling Regulations and the Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL) Regulations, which took effect on March 6, 2022.
A short selling transaction means any sale of a listed security, which is borrowed sufficiently to match the sell order, or the seller has an exercisable and unconditional rights to borrow, in accordance with the SBL Regulations.
