NEOM has signed an agreement with Marriott International to open three properties on its luxury island destination Sindalah, situated in the Red Sea off the northwest coast of Saudi Arabia.
The multi-deal agreement includes the Kingdom’s first Autograph Collection hotels and two Luxury Collection properties.
The Autograph Collection property in Sindalah includes 66 rooms and suites, multiple dining options, a kids club, and a spa, NEOM said in a statement. The resort is expected to open in 2024.
The Luxury Collection is likely to open two hotels on the island. The first property, a beach resort, will offer 70 luxury rooms and suites with private pools. It is slated to open in 2024.
The second project, projected to open in 2024, is expected to be an all-suite property offering 115 one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury suites. The property will be situated in the heart of the retail and marina district of Sindalah.
In December 2022, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prime Minister and Chairman of the NEOM Company, announced the development of Sindalah, the first luxury island destination in NEOM, Argaam reported.
The island is expected to start receiving visitors in early 2024.
