Idle Lands Program invoices over 83 mln sqm land in round 7 of Dammam

The Idle Land Program said invoices for undeveloped land fees were issued on more than 187 plots located within the declared urban area, in the seventh round of the first phase in Dammam city.

Total area of such land plots exceeded 83 million square meters (sqm), the program said in a statement.

Invoices for this round were issued in March, urging landowners to develop their lands or pay the fees within one year of issuance.

The total land fees invoices issued since the launch of the program exceeded 16,000 in cities where the fees applies, including the seventh round in Dammam in its first phase for 2023.

Over 63 lands have entered into development or trading in the real estate supply between the sixth and the seventh rounds, as the areas of billed lands in Dammam for this year could provide more than 138,000 real estate units if they are developed and reconstructed.
