The Digital Government Authority (DGA) provided five companies with the third package of general interim licenses for digital government services.

These companies are Saudi Company for Electronic Information Exchange (Tabadul), National Housing Co. (NHC), Masdr Data Solution, Tamkeen Technologies, and Tatweer Education Technologies.

In a statement, the authority said it issued a number of licenses to develop and operate seven existing digital government platforms and products.

The licenses are part of the pilot regulatory environment initiative for government technology companies launched in November of 2021, DGA said.

It added that the initiative seeks to raise the efficiency and quality of digital platforms, provide pioneering digital services, and improve the investment environment to support entrepreneurs. It also aims to enhance partnership between the public and private sectors and accelerate digital economic growth to achieve the strategic directions of digital government and Vision 2030 goals.
