Saudi Aramco is set to increase Jizan refinery output of ultra-low sulphur diesel (ULSD) and reduce exports of vacuum gasoil (VGO), Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The oil giant plans to ramp up production in the second quarter, the sources noted.

The refinery could produce up to 250,000 barrels per day (bpd) of ULSD or 10 parts per million (ppm) of gasoil, when it hits full capacity.

The move could boost Aramco's fuel exports to Europe, the sources said.
