Abdulaziz Al-Bouq, Governor of General Organization for Social Insurance
The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) board of directors approved the resignation of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdulaziz Al-Bouq, effective April 2, as he was appointed Governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).
In a statement to Tadawul, Tawuniya said that Othman Alkassabi was named as Acting CEO starting from today, April 3.
Alkassabi was Executive Director for Health and Life, Tawuniya’s largest sector. He has more than 17 years of experience in the field of healthcare.
He served in several leadership and administrative positions prior to his appointment in the company, including the position of Executive Director of Empowerment and Supervision, Acting Executive Director of Communication and Official Spokesperson for the Health Insurance Council. In addition, Alkassabi held several leadership positions for business development in the healthcare sector, including King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz City for Humanitarian Services.
Alkassabi holds EMBA in global leadership and management from Al-Yamamah University, as well as MBA from Germany's Hochschule Furtwangen University, and a Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation sciences and physical therapy from King Saud University.
According to data available on Argaam, King Salman issued a royal order on April 2 appointing Al-Bouq as Governor of GOSI, at the excellent rank.
