Red Sea Global says airport construction is nearing completion

Red Sea Global Co. (RSG) said that the Red Sea International Airport is getting ready to receive passengers in the project.

 

The company indicated that construction work at the airport is almost complete to start operating flights soon, it said in a tweet.

 

Last October, The Red Sea Development Co. (TRSDC) signed an agreement with Dublin-based daa International to operate the Red Sea International Airport, Argaam reported earlier.

 

The airport, designed by international architecture firm Foster + Partners, will receive its first passengers this year. The airport will operate with capabilities to serve an estimated one million domestic and international tourists per year by 2030, or a maximum of 900 passengers per hour.
