Tanmiah Food plans to open a Popeyes store every 10 days: MD

Tanmiah Food Co. (Tanmiah) plans to expand the footprint of POPEYES across the Kingdom over the coming years by opening a new store every 10 days to meet the growing consumer demand, Managing Director (MD) Ahmed Sharaf Osilan told El Sharq TV.

Tanmiah added six new Popeyes branches in Q1 2023, bringing the store network to 26 from 20 last year.

Popeyes Quick Service Restaurant franchise reported nearly SAR 17 million in sales revenue in Q1 2023, compared to approximately SAR 4 million a year earlier.

In December 2021, Tanmiah Food Co.’s wholly owned subsidiary Gulf Brand Fast Food Co. signed a master franchise and development agreement with POPEYES, an international quick-service restaurants chain, according to Argaam.
