BCI inks MoU with Italmatch Chemicals to supply chlorine, caustic soda, hydrochloric acid

Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) signed on May 22 a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Italmatch Chemicals to provide chlorine, caustic soda and hydrochloric acid to Italmatch factories in the PlasChem Complex in Jubail Industrial City, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The two-year MoU seeks to establish a business framework between both parties to discuss a supply contract of chlorine, caustic soda and hydrochloric acid.

 

The MoU included no related parties, the statement said, adding that the related financial impact cannot be determined at present. Any material developments will be announced in due course.
