SEZs complement Saudi economy, says Al-Jadaan

The special economic zones (SEZs) program complements the economy and does not compete with it, Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan told the Saudi Special Economic Zones Investment Forum.
 

He added that SEZs target specific investors from certain sectors to limit competition between the economy and SEZs.
 

SEZs will contribute to boosting the economic growth, achieving sustainable development, attracting investments, creating job opportunities, and bolstering exports. They will also support the integration of global value chains, as well as promote industrial diversification, the minister said.
