MEPCO starts trial operations at Juthor project

Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) launched trial operations at Juthor Paper Manufacturing Co., which will be followed by commercial operations in Q2 2023, according to a statement on Tadawul.

 

The project is 95% complete, with the financial impact to be assessed after commercial start-up, the statement added.

 

In December 2020, MEPCO’s board of directors approved the establishment of a tissue paper and hygienic paper jumbo rolls production plant at an estimated cost of SAR 338 million, according to data compiled by Argaam.
