Obeikan Glass Co.’s board of directors approved, on May 31, the resignation of CEO Fayez Abdulrazzag as of June 15, 2023, due to personal reasons. 

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company pointed out that the board decided, based on the recommendation of the nominations and remuneration committee, to appoint Ibrahim Alhammad as the company’s CEO starting July 1. 

 

Alhammad has more than 25 years of experience in SABIC, where he served as the CEO and General Manager of SABIC Morocco and West Africa from 2017 to 2022. He also held the position of Global Director of Chemicals Unit/Monomer Unit from 2010 to 2017. 

 

He holds a master's degree in Information Sciences from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and has extensive experience in executive leadership, strategic direction, business development, developing partnerships and promoting business growth, the statement added.
