GACA, Elm sign contract to develop digital platform

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) signed a contract with Elm Co. for a project to develop a comprehensive digital platform to serve the authority’s clients in its various sectors.

Under the contract, Elm’s scope of work will include the automation of electronic transactions, improvement of GACA's procedures and business performance, in addition to governance and control of procedures and providing decision-makers with appropriate reports in a timely manner, GACA said in a statement.

Elm will also help the authority achieve operational excellence, while ensuring the fulfillment of beneficiaries' aspirations.

Furthermore, it will contribute to strengthening GACA's roles in terms of supervising the implementation of the civil aviation sector’s strategy, applying the best international practices in technology and innovation, and driving digital transformation in the sector by developing the authority’s platform and automating its services, the statement added.
