Saudi and Turkish officials signing a bilateral agreement
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Jeddah on July 17 evening, Saudi Press Agency reported.
They discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation in all fields, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
The two parties also attended the signing of several agreements, as follows:
First: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation was signed in the field of energy by Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
Second: The executive plan for cooperation in the fields of capabilities, defense industries, as well as research and development, was signed by Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman and Turkish Minister of National Defense Yasar Guler.
Third: a MoU for cooperation in the field of direct investment was signed by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih and Turkish President of Investment Office Ahmed Dağlıoğlu.
Fourth: A MoU for cooperation in the media field was signed by Saudi Minister of Information Salman Al-Dossary and Head of the Turkish Presidency Communication Department Fakhruddin Alton.
Fifth: Two contracts were signed between Khaled Al-Bayari, Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, and Lutfi Bayrakdar, CEO of Turkey-based Baykar Company.
