Oil tanks
US crude stocks fell more than expected in the week ended July 21, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report.
Crude inventories declined last week by 600,000 barrels from the previous week, compared to estimates of a 2.35 million barrel drop.
Gasoline and distillate inventories also declined last week by 800,000 barrels and 200,000 barrels, respectively, the report added.
