King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued directives today, Aug. 2, on extending support for the Citizen’s Account beneficiaries for additional two months until September 2023. Registration in the Citizen’s Account Program will also remain open.

This came as part of the continuous efforts aimed at protecting eligible beneficiary families from the repercussions of global price hikes, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The step is also in continuation of the royal directive issued in July 2022 to provide additional financial support to beneficiaries of the Citizen Account Program until 2022-end. This is in addition to the royal directive in January and April 2023, to extend the program and additional support as well as continue to open registration for it until July 2023 in accordance with the previously announced controls.
