Red Sea Authority issues 7 regulations for maritime activities

The Saudi Red Sea Authority issued seven regulations for maritime activities in the Red Sea, which are related to the design and operation of tourist marina, the classification of tourist marine media, cruises, tourist navigational agents, tourist cruise operators, and rental of huge yachts.

 

The regulations will come into force 90 days after their publication date - today, Aug. 5.

 

In November 2022, King Salman approved the authority's regulatory arrangements, which are related to the regulation of maritime and tourist activities of cruises and yachts within the geographical scope of the Kingdom in the Red Sea, in addition to supporting investors as well as medium and small enterprises, Argaam earlier reported.
