The General Authority for Competition (GAC) said 15 merger and acquisition (M&A) deals took place without informing the authority in 2022, with legal measures taken against them.
In its annual report for 2022, the authority stated that the information & communications and transformative industries sectors equally topped the list where the unreported deals were monitored.
