A Saudi Port
Saudi Arabia’s merchandise imports grew by nearly 21% year-on-year (YoY) in May 2023 to SAR 67.7 billion, according to data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Meanwhile, Saudi imports rose by 17%, or about SAR 9.8 billion, in May 2023 compared to April 2023.

Machinery, automatic devices, electrical equipment, and their parts topped Saudi Arabia’s imports during May 2023, with a value of SAR 15 billion, followed by vehicles, aircraft, ships, and similar transport equipment, with a value of SAR 11.4 billion.

China topped the Kingdom's list of countries for imports, amounting to SAR 15.7 billion, accounting for 23% of the total value of imports in May 2023, followed by the USA and UAE at SAR 5.7 billion and SAR 3.7 billion, respectively.
