Saudi social insurance subscribers reach 10.5 mln in Q2 2023: GOSI

Saudi Arabia’s General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) said a total of 10.5 million public and private sector employees were registered in the social insurance scheme by the end of Q2 2023, an increase of almost 1% from 10.42 million in Q1 2023, as follows:

Insured citizens, who account for 25.1% of the total public and private sectors’ subscribers, increased by about 24,400 to 2.63 million in Q2 2023, compared to Q1 2023.

 

The number of insured expatriate workers surged by roughly 54,000 quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to 7.86 million in Q2 2023. They account for 74.9% of the Kingdom’s total subscribers.
