SAR 500 banknotes
Residential real estate finance provided by banks to individuals fell by 25% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 5.43 billion in July, data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.
Compared to June, residential real estate finance decreased by SAR 544 million, or 9%.

Villa finance accounted for the biggest share of the total housing finance provided in July, reaching 72%, or SAR 3.9 billion. Apartments and land plots followed with SAR 1.23 billion and SAR 301 million, respectively.
