Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) announced a bundle of new requirements to raise the efficiency and service quality of recruitment companies.
The step aims to improve satisfaction levels for the beneficiaries of recruitment offices and companies. It falls within the framework of the ministry's continued efforts to promote the recruitment sector and enhance the Saudi labor market attractiveness, the ministry said in a statement.
The new requirements provide for a baseline that ensures optimum efficiency by recruitment offices and companies of all sizes. The requirements are designed to protect rights, speed up the recruitment period and resolution of complaints.
The ministry will measure performance and verify compliance to the requirements, on a monthly basis. Appropriate administrative decisions will be taken against any company or office that does not meet the minimum performance specified.
During the first phase, performance will be measured every 30 days and appropriate measures against violating companies will come within 90 days, the statement added.
