Sharqia Development Authority (SDA) signed Al Khobar Port Investment Agreement with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture as well as the Eastern Province Amana to operate the region's waterfront and develop a tourist and recreational destination in Al Khobar City. 

 

The pact includes establishing, developing, operating and maintaining floating docks, recreational fishing sites, three marinas on rent of tourist boats, private boat services, fishermen boat services, a fuel station for boats, in addition to providing sports and recreational marine activities, and shops for the sale of fishing tools and supplies. 

 

The agreement falls within the SDA economic development authorities to optimize and develop the tourist destinations.
