Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co. (Tadawul Group) signed today, Sept. 4, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), aimed at reinforcing opportunities for joint cooperation and development efforts between the two sides.

 

The MoU includes exploring cooperation opportunities in the areas of dual listing, financial technology (fintech), environmental, social, and corporate governance practices as well as data and research.

 

Furthermore, the MoU extends to exchanging expertise in the field of listing family businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), dual listing of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), investor relations initiatives, and infrastructure development.

 

The MoU was signed by Tadawul Group CEO Khaled Al-Hussan and SSE President Cai Jianchun, on the sidelines of the visit of a high-level delegation from SSE to Saudi Arabia.
