Saudi Arabia is developing an integrated strategy to boost exports to China by facilitating obstacles to exporters, in order to expand the reach of Saudi products to the Asian country and increase the volume of trade exchange, Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, revealed.

 

China is a target market for the Kingdom. Chinese companies show increasing interest in investment in the Kingdom, he added in an interview with Asharq Business.

 

Technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and mining are on top of the sectors, which target to attract Chinese investments, Alkhorayef said, pointing to the agreements concluded with China under the Saudi National Transport and Logistics Strategy.

 

In Shanghai, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources held meetings with several Chinese investors to present available investment opportunities in the Saudi industrial and mining sector, the goals of the national industrial strategy.
