NEOM inks deal with Marriott International for 2 luxury hotels in TROJENA

Marriott International Inc. signed an agreement with NEOM to open two luxury hotels in TROJENA, NEOM’s mountain tourism destination.

The agreement includes Saudi Arabia’s first W Hotel, and a JW Marriott chain-branded hotel, NEOM said in a statement on its official website.

The W Hotel in TROJENA is anticipated to feature 236 guest rooms, including 47 suites. The hotel is also expected to offer restaurants and signature brand spaces.

The hotel will be situated within the region’s Lake Village that is expected to be home to a range of retail and dining offerings, fresh food and shopping markets and entertainment areas.

Meanwhile, the JW Marriott Hotel will be situated in The Bow, which is anticipated to be a futuristic water world that will combine nature with advanced technology.

The hotel's infrastructure will be enacted with the lake space in The Bow, enclosed by natural landscapes. The substructure is designed to withstand the weight and pressure of the surrounding water, while remaining spaces will be easily adaptable to allow for multi-season use. The hotel will include 500 luxurious rooms and suites, in addition to various entertainment options, the statement added.
