Oil tanks
US crude oil inventories declined in the week ended Sept. 22, while gasoline inventories and distillate stocks rose during the same period.
Crude oil fell 2.2 million barrels last week, compared to expectations of a decline by 320,000 barrels, data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed.
Meanwhile, US gasoline inventories increased by nearly 1 million barrels and distillate stocks added 0.4 million barrels.
