The value of the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia is expected to reach $93.4 billion in 2023, said Arnold Donald, Chairman of World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

 

In a speech at the World Tourism Day conference, he added that this is equal to 10% of Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product, expecting the sector to grow at the fastest pace in the Middle East and add one million jobs during the next 10 years.

 

He also pointed out that the growth of the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia is an example of the sector's transformative power.
