Munawla buys 5 trucks, 5 containers for refrigerated transport business

Munawla Cargo Co. purchased five trucks and five refrigerated containers to use in the recently announced transport of chilled goods business.

 

In two statements to Tadawul, Munawla said it bought the trucks for SAR 484,150 on Sept. 9 and the containers for SAR 310,000 on Sept. 19. The transactions were self-financed.

 

The company expects the purchases to have a positive impact on its operations, the statement noted, adding that there are no related parties.

 

Last month, Munawla announced plans to introduce refrigerated transport business to its current activities. The new business line will help Munawla transport medicines and chilled foods.

 

At the time, the company said it expects to commence the project establishment on Oct. 1 at an investment cost of SAR 1 million in the first phase.
