Nahdi Medical Co.'s market share is increasing, which signals that the firm is on the right track, CEO Yasser Joharji told Argaam on the sidelines of opening the Nahdi Care Clinics in Makkah.

He added that the company has four integrated healthcare centers as Nahdi Clinics were launched in Jeddah years ago and the first center was opened in Makkah.

The firm will open a center in Taif over the next two months, which will be followed by other regions such as Madinah, Yanbu, Khamis Mushait, Abha, Najran, and Riyadh.

Nahdi currently serves more than 700,000 customers through telemedicine services in more than 120 cities and villages in the Kingdom.

The medical services provider will continue in this field as the number of Nahdi Care customers reached more than 500,000, Joharji said, adding that Nahdi managed to improve and develop the model and it is currently in the expansion stage.

Nahdi has a good orientation in the field of pharmacy, and is currently focusing on primary healthcare clinics, which are supported by a strong technological system.

The company mainly aims to reach out to customers as its clinics are five minutes away for 90% of customers in more than 130 cities and villages, the CEO said, noting the firm has an integrated system and is working on the improvement, development, and expansion.

Commenting on the signing of a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with Tiryaq Medical Co., Joharji said Tiryaq is part of the Kingdom’s trend to encourage the local content, especially as the latter is a key outlet for selling products.

In addition, Tiryaq has ongoing programs in the pharmaceutical sector to support local products, the CEO said, noting that the MoU is part of efforts to stimulate local companies.
