GOSI says age for social insurance system based on Hijri calendar

The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) said that the age of beneficiaries of the social insurance system is calculated in accordance with the Hijri calendar.

 

Any change to this policy will be duly announced, GOSI said in response to an inquiry via "X" platform, regarding the method of calculating service year.

 

The Saudi Cabinet recently issued a decree obligating all the government entities to calculate salaries, wages and other financial dues in line with the Georgian calendar.
