The Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) reviewed the quarterly economic and development report for Q3 2023, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The report highlighted the global economy in light of fluctuations and higher interest rates, as well as the most prominent economic scenarios, future challenges, and expectations.

 

The council considered the 38% growth in government spending on public services such as healthcare and education as an extension of the state’s keenness to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents. This led to increasing the social benefits by 27% until the third quarter of 2023.
