SPIMACO Chairman resigns; Al-Jedai takes over

Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corp.’s (SPIMACO) board of directors approved the resignation of Chairman Mohammed Talal Al-Nahas (Non-Executive), effective as of Nov. 8, 2023, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The board named Ahmed bin Hamdan Al-Jedai to replace him, effective as of Nov. 9, until the end of the current board term.

 

Al-Jedai is Founding President of Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy (SSCP), Assistant Deputy Minister for Therapeutic Affairs in the Ministry of Health, and, Professor in College of Medicine & Pharmacy in Alfaisal University.

 

He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Harlington University, UK.

 

The board approval is not deemed final, and the decision id pending the approval of the general meeting.
