InoChem’s inorganic chemicals to add diversity to Sipchem product portfolio: CEO

Sahara International Petrochemical Co.’s (Sipchem) CEO Abdullah Al-Saadoon said that Khair Inorganic Chemical Industries Co. (InoChem) will provide inorganic chemicals, diversifying the company’s product portfolio.

 

In a company statement, the CEO said this will effectively address the increasing demand in the Saudi market for soda ash and calcium chloride, which are essential components used across various local industries.

 

This step will contribute to enhancing local content, which plays an important role in economic growth, he pointed out, noting that InoChem products are inputs to various industries witnessing significant economic growth in the Kingdom.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Sipchem launched trial operations of the InoChem factory in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City on Nov. 12.

 

Sipchem owns 30% of InoChem.
